We have turned a passion/hobby into a small family business. Each of our wood work pieces are a labor of love and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Our pieces are not "assembly line" works. No machine processed 100 items a day. We make one item at a time. Somedays we get five or six items done some days we are lucky to get one done.
Stop by http://www.facebook.com/#!/popswoodworkboards to see more pictures and comments about our cutting boards, Cheese boards, Bread boards, Butcher Blocks, Chopping blocks and rolling Kitchen Islands.
Our cutting boards have been called functional pieces of art. We have had some customers who will not use our cutting boards "because they are pretty" however they are designed and built to last for years and years. Our first board was a simple striped two types of wood board that has been used for over 30 years and it is still going strong.
We would like to express our gratitude to our family, friends and customers for all the positive support and comments!
If there is any item you would like more information and/or pictures of please contact us and we will send more detailed info or pictures. Please give us a couple of days to return e-mail, firstname.lastname@example.org.
A few cutting boards, couple of flags and a dresser that we re-did a few years ago.
Below is an Oak cross with a piece of twine wrapped around it & two more of our American flags. The American flags are for wall decor only, not for use as a cutting board.
We handcraft many variaties of American flags. Typically made of Walnut and Maple. Variations in the wood grain are natural and make each flag individually unique. They can be hung on a wall or displayed on a counter or table top useing a frame holder.
Q.) How do you charge for labor? A.) We have a flat rate of $20.00 an hour. We charge for materials such wood, glue, rubber feet, biscuits, sandpaper and oil or Poly.
All our works are more of a labor of love, we know starting a project we will never get paid for all of our time. We still hold ourselves to high quality standards however, we keep labor costs down so more people can enjoy our items.
